Here is a session with my kiddos from December in downtown Phoenix. We had such a fun time, and I was happy to get some great images of my girls. A special thank you to Erik for shooting the video with my Flip HD camera. I love urban portrait photography because of all the different colors, textures and backgrounds you can use. You can always find some great light downtown, too! All of the images you see in the video were taken with my trusty 20d and 85mm f1.8 lens. I did not use any flash, hand-held reflectors or diffusers. For more info on how to improve your natural light photography, visit www.naturallightproject.com. Enjoy the video!

From the article:
“To most people, they’re simply eyesores: abandoned buildings and cold, dark tunnels covered in graffiti and littered with trash and empty beer bottles. But through the lens of an “urban explorer,” the forgotten gems of the city become surprisingly photogenic.”
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break. I certainly did! Now, it is back to work. Here is a great (and entertaining) video featuring a senior portrait session (and it is a senior boy - those are hard to come by!). Enjoy the video, and I’ll see you over at www.shuttermomuniversity.com for more photography business info and coaching.
Hi There! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I found this new video from Sam Puc’, and wanted to share. It is a gorgeous urban family photo session. I like how she mixed video clips in with the slideshow. Enjoy the video, and I’ll see you over at www.shuttermomuniversity.com for more photography business tips and coaching.
Here is a really great video showing a talented photographer at work along with the finished portraits. She is shooting an urban kid’s session in downtown Denver.
Next time you go on a shoot, consider bringing someone along to video it. Then you can have a video like this one to put on your website or blog!
